Registry is an integral part of any PC that is running Windows operating system. Since the Windows 95 version, Microsoft had introduced the registry in their Windows operating system to store the vital information about the hardware and software configuration of the PC. This was earlier done by .inf files that used to be stored throughout the hard disc and it took more time for the system to locate these files while initializing the components.
